Make
Diya's |
Play-dough / magic mold, construction paper, glitter glue, glue,
scissors |

Roll the clay into a ball. Press the thumb inside and
flatten it to make a bowl.

Cut
the construction paper into flames and glue together to make
it sturdy. You can decorate it with glitter glue to make it
shine.

Place the flame in the centre of the Diya to resemble a real

Write Happy Diwali in big beautiful letters.

Have the kids colour the alphabets.

Make streaks of glue on the albhabets. Pour glitter. Shake
it and you have a nice sparkly poster ready!

Draw a huge diya on the chart paper.

Make yellow flames and cut them out.

Blindfold the children one by one and let them stick the
flames on the Diya.

The
person with the flame closest to the centre of the Diya is
the winner.

Give the children one sheet of paper each.

them draw a flame on the candles dispersed amongst the
pictures.
